Give Shimmery Thanks!

Today's card is made using the Movers and Shapers Die with the Holiday Windows Die and the Big Shot. The Movers and Shapers Die actually cuts and scores your card. I used 12 x 12 cardstock, cut in half. I am loving Shimmer Paint! I sponged Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint around the edges of the cut out circle and on the acorn itself. It really makes the image pop! The acorn image is from The More the Merrier Exclusive Hostess Set by Stampin' Up!

This tiny little bottle of Shimmer Paint goes a very long way! You can do various things with Shimmer Paint. You can ink up your stamp using Shimmer Paint, or you can use a sponge dauber to place Shimmer Paint on certain spots of your stamped image, or you can sponge your card for a different effect. There are many ways to use Shimmer Paint and I will try to post some different techniques soon. Thanks for dropping in today, please stop in again.
