Today's card is the last card I made using Circle Circus and the Shattered Glass technique. I was creating different designs using this technique and wanted to try something a little different. "Shattered Glass" MessUp

Today's card is my Shattered Glass Mess Up! Still kinda cool though huh? Can you tell me how I messed up, or should I say fixed-up? In my stamping classes, there is no such thing as making a mistake. You can always make something or fix a mishap! Just ask my stamping friends! This card looks okay and nobody would even know it should look a little more like this card. Which Came First, the Chicken or the Egg?

 
This is a card I designed a couple of weeks ago for my monthly club night stamping group. We get together at least once a month for stamping and fun. I decided to come up with an Easter card that would be a little different. Hope you like it! So which do you think came first, the chicken or the egg? I used the Stampin' Up! set A Good Egg, Inspired by Nature, and Well Scripted. Well Scripted is available from the Occasions Mini Catalog until April 30, 2010. I cut out an egg shape on Whisper White and sponged it using Yoyo Yellow, then stamped it with Orchid Opulence. Orchid Opulence is not a color I tend to use alot, but I think it goes well on this project. I loaded my little chick with glitter! Who doesn't love glitter? Thanks for stopping by.

"Shattered Glass" Technique with Circle Circus

Today's card is one we made at my January technique class. The technique is called "Shattered Glass." This is a very easy technique and each card will look different. I have two other Shattered Glass cards I will be posting soon, all using the same colors so check back soon. I used the Circle Circus Stampin' Up! stamp set and Melon Mambo, Green Galore, Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay Classic stamp pads to make a bright cheerful thank you card. This is one of the cards we are making at our February monthly club night class. I used the Sweetheart Stamp Set with the Heart Treat Cups and Teeny Tiny Wishes! This card was designed so you can pull the "Just for You" tab out and you can get your Butterfinger candy out without tearing your card. "Tote-ally Tess" Hunts for Easter Eggs

Did I mention in yesterday's post how much I love Tote-ally Tess? Yep, I believe I did. I think she is one cool chick! (pardon the pun). This is actually the first card I created using my Tote-ally Tess stamp set from Stampin' Up! I created this card for my customers to make at my Easter Stamp-a-Stack class coming up in March. I haven't seen anyone else create a card like this one, or my previous Tote-ally Tess card. I'm so excited to come up with these ideas (it doesn't happen that often - smile)! Hope you like it! "Tote-ally Tess" Skateboards

I just LOVE Tote-ally Tess! Not only can she stamp, but she can skateboard too, and she even won a trophy! I masked her on the skateboard (from Beary Best Times) and colored my Kraft corduroy button with a Yoyo Yellow marker. "Always" Valentine Card

Happy day after Valentine's Day. I made several of these cards in a couple of different colors for some special people. To view this same card in bashful blue, click here. It's amazing to see how just changing a color changes the whole card. I think the Real Red cardstock makes the card pop and the bashful blue card is softer. Chocolate Bunny

 

Today's post is a card I created using the Chocolate Bunny rubber stamp from Stampin' Up!. This is a single stamp you can purchase for just $7.95 out of the Occasions Mini Catalog until April 30, 2010. My girl bunny is a dark chocolate bunny (chocolate chip cardstock). Doesn't she look like a real candy bunny? I stamped her in Versamark, sprinkled clear embossing powder and heated with the heat tool. Nope! she didn't melt!!  We will be making this card along with three others at my Easter Stamp-a-Stack class next month.
