HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TODAY! Hope you and your loved one/s have a special day planned. I LOVE this stamp set called "Greeting Card Kids." I designed this card for one of my November workshops. You ask why are you thinking of Valentine cards in November? Well, my hostess and I wanted to give everyone time to order and receive their sets, so they would not have to hurry to make their Valentine's Day cards. I always get my cards made, but then I come close to forgetting to mail them. I work so far ahead for my classes, workshops and stamp camps that I don't think about the occasion because I'm already on the next one. I barely got my cards sent out on time this year, did you?

Tiny Teacup Birthday Card

Hi Stampers,
Sorry I have been missing in the blogging world, but I'm back! Today's card features the "Tiny Teacup" single stamp from Stampin' Up! I have alot of friends who like tea cups, so just couldn't pass this one up. There are always reasons to buy another stamp set, right? This is a birthday card I created for one of my stamping friends. Can you guess what Designer Series Paper I used for the trim?  If you guess Autumn Spice, you're correct! (This DSP was in the Holiday Mini and has now retired). I used the Tasteful Trim die to make the scalloped trim.This die has three other trims you can use for your paper crafting or fabric projects.

Happy First Birthday

My BFF needed a birthday card for someone special who was turning "1." This is what we came up with, like it? We used the "Simple Birthday Thanks" large backgroup stamp. It is one solid stamp. The stamp has a cherry on the icing but we changed it by putting a special number "1" on the top. The dots have different color glitters to match the cardstock. We couldn't decide whether to add the bow, but I LOVE ribbon and my BFF liked the bow too, so we added it. Some of the Designer Series Paper and the cardstock has since retired, but he will not notice! Smile.....

Tea Cup and Tea Bag

Today's card is one I made for a special family member's birthday back in November. She loves teacups and she really liked her card. I just love the tea bag, don't you? Want to know how I created the tea bag? I used Vellum Cardstock, scored it two times, colored the inside with an Early Espresso Marker, snipped the top edges, stapled it together and tied it to the ribbon with Linen thread. Pretty cool, huh? I really like this "Tiny Teacup" stamp. One single stamp (a la carte) from Stampin' Up! you can use so many ways! Stay tuned for more cards I'll be sharing soon using this same stamp. Can't wait to share them with you.

Delightful Decorations Ornament

This is one of our cards we made at our Christmas Stamp-a-Stack stamp camp in November. Do you like the Delightful Decorations Ornament? There are three other ornament stamps in this set too. I have seen this stamp set used for different ideas and the first thing that popped into my head was to use this as a fish. Stay tuned for some samples coming soon.This set has a matching punch, how easy is that - no cutting!

Bells and Boughs with a Technique

Love this stamp set Bells & Boughs! This is the card we are making today at my friend's workshop. We will be stamping two cards and using the Big Shot! I saw this technique at the Baltimore Regionals but forgot who the presenter was. To do this technique, stamp your image, color it in and then run it through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. LOVE THIS! I have also seen people punch out an image and adhere it to their cardstock then run that through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Folder too. Really cool idea and so simple!

Punch Pals with Glitter Glass

I love the new Glitter Glass that is in the Holiday Mini Catalog (#120997 Champagne or #120995 Silver)! We used the Champagne Glitter Glass on this card. Too make sure your Glitter Glass sticks you can use Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755) or Crystal Effects (#101055). The Merry Christmas was stamped in VersaMark and then embossed using Whisper White Embossing Powder and the heat tool. We stamped the snowflakes using Whisper White Craft ink.

Snowmen are cute! This snowman comes in the Punch Pals stamp set. What a great set to make various Christmas cards. Autumn Days Wreath

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! We all have alot to be thankful for and I wish you a great day with family and friends. I love this card and had a hard time waiting to share it with you, but I wanted to wait and share it on this special day with my blogging friends.

We made this card at my November monthly club night. I have seen wreaths made using different stamp sets so I decided to try my first wreath using the "Autumn Days" leaf. I really like how this card came together and my club members enjoyed creating this card too. Very simple card with a WOW effect!

To make the wreath I drew a circle with the pencil using my Circle Scissors Plus and stamped the leaf using three different colors. I started with the lightest color Certainly Celery, then used Pumpkin Pie and then Cherry Cobbler. After I stamped the leaves I used Early Espresso for the berries or whatever that image is.
